DIWALI --------Big Opportunity for CONSCIOUSNESS SHIFT..........

Diwali is not a mere “Festival”, it is a Spiritual Possibility… a Shift!
 Realization that helps one move from the Untruth to Truth.

Diwali is THE SHIFT. Between the "Dark Fortnight” to "Bright Fortnight”. From Dark to Light. Nature doesn’t need candles to announce the shift. Or lamps. It becomes "THE SHIFT ”.

We light lamps because those who understood the movement of nature and its significance, spiritually, (sages ) suggested it to us, in case we missed the larger phenomenon.

Diwali, a 5 day "Process” and Possibility to bring such a shift in one’s consciousness is one such opportunity.

Ashwin is the lunar month in September / October and in it’s Krishna Paksha ("dark fortnight”) starts the time for Diwali on Dhan Teras. The Diwali days end on the Second day of the Kartik month which are in Shukla Paksha("bright fortnight”).

Narakasur and Ravana represented the dark creational energies. Krishna and Ram were glowing existential energies. When the Energy of knowledge and Consciousness prevailed over that of ignorance, Diwali happened. In those eras, it was a Shift of consciousness. As it can be today.

According to Hindu Dharma, spiritual festivals increase the SATVIKTTA in us as well as in the society.

Unfortunately, these days, Diwali is celebrated either for namesake or without any efforts made to gain spiritual benefit from the same. As a result, Diwali has turned into a festival of pollution of smoke and noise of fire crackers, exchange of expensive gifts, new clothes & variety of foods.

Moreover today it has become a big platform to exhibit ones financial status to others. New clothes , crackers, sweets , gifts should actually be bought & enjoyed purely for the inner satisfaction & peace........... & definitely not to exhibit your riches & compete with your friends & family.

This festival has lost its true spirit, depriving us from getting the full benefit of the Divine Consciousness (Chaitanya) that is integral to all our festivals and celebrations.

Diwali, is a worship of the Absolute FIRE principle. In other words, Diwali stands for the destruction of the distressing elements ( including our NEGATIVE THOUGHTS ) that dominate the environment. Every day of Diwali represents the conquest of good over evil, piousness over immorality and virtue over vice.

Many Deepavali festivals have come and gone. Yet the hearts of the vast majority are as dark as the night of the new moon. The house is lit with lamps, but the heart is full of the darkness of ignorance.

Diwali is not merely a Cultural Festival. It is a Spiritual Opportunity..................

Celebration is one thing. Awareness and Realization is another.

Let us all take this DIWALI 2015 .......... as an opportunity.

An opportunity to move one from Creational dimension to the Existential one. IF, one is willing and aware.

Let us use it this year. The Earth and the Humanity needs the "Shift”!
