PURNIMA (FULL MOON ) MEDITATION

The moon has always been an integral part of our lives. Whether it is celebrating a festival or starting an auspicious task irrespective of the religion we follow , we do consider the movements of the moon.

When we do all worldly auspicious acts as per the moon , then why not a Divine act like MEDITATION.

The composition of the unfathomable Ocean is similar to that of Human Body. Our body consists of 64% water. So the connection.

Let us see how............

Indian ancient scriptures such as Vishnu Purana talk about the origin of the Moon. According to this purana, the Moon has emerged from the Milky ocean with its soft and snowy beams.

Food that we consume is converted into 2 parts – mind energy and Prana. Prana means vital energy, and it is carried throughout the body on and with the breath.  Prana  on one level is associated with our soul and on another level is connected to the larger expanse of universal power and potential. The mind energy is centered in the pineal gland area from which vital hormones get secreted, for expanded awareness, implanting a sacred instigation to move more deeply into our unconscious, into our dreams, and into our inner spaces for insight and embodied wisdom.

The moon rays enter this gland to take control of all our activities from night till the time we wake up.. So, on the full moon , when the moon is closest to the earth, these rays are maximum & meditation helps the seekers in going inward, transcend the mind, and feel the divinity within.

The full moon rays  affect human beings, animals, plants, water and so on.

Do venture into the territory of spontaneous arisings, allowing the full moon to guide your explorations.
